Sidreh works through an integral strategy whereby it empowers women while strengthening the community as a whole. As such, it activates and strengthens Women Committees in different villages to increase participation, representation and the pursuit of their rights. Sidreh also works with the local men and other institutions to ensure their acceptance and collaboration. Thanks to these efforts it is now natural for women to appear in public spaces, participate in decision-making processes and take active roles in community activities. Women are finally gaining the tools to cope with the modern world as independent individuals. Through this platform, Sidreh also develops emergency response projects, which is much needed in the unrecognized villages.

Major Achievements

 Built the first Women's Center in an Unrecognized Village

 Supported the consolidation of local Women Committee, which develops activities for more than 90 women

 Works in close collaboration of local men and institutions in order to creating a sense of trust and harmony between men and women.

 Many of the empowerment and literacy training beneficiaries have joined a committeeto develop government recommendations as part of their village development planning process
